Suffolk County Court House (sixth) is built.

Architect: Desmond & Lord. Designed in the Art Deco style and known as the New Court House, it is located at 3 Pemberton Square. The cornerstone was laid on September 29, 1937. The building is closed temporarily due to “sick building syndrome” in 1994, then for renovations in 1999 and reopens in 2005.
